From it, we have selected the mood board on Earthy Tones, which is one of the 18 contained in the season's trends

EARTHY TONES – Womenswear SS27

This season, the palette draws inspiration from the richness of soil: warm sandy, clay, ochre, and terracotta shades bring depth and warmth across a wide range of fabrics.

Sandy jacquards are streaked with coloured stripes and subtle floral motifs, while red-ochre damasks in linen/viscose feature steel threads that help retain a naturally crinkled texture. Coarse cotton leno lace in burnt solids contrasts with lightweight fabrics enriched with slub and knopped rustic yarns, creating a tactile interplay of textures.

Linen twills are enlivened with graffiti-style corrosive prints, adding a contemporary edge to earthy shades. Asymmetric stripes in viscose jerseys are paired with accents of turquoise and cyclamen, offering vibrant highlights against a muted base. Meanwhile, viscose tartans and large stripes on seersucker grounds, sometimes enhanced with subtle elastomer insertions, bring softness and structure to the collection.

The overall effect: a grounded, textured wardrobe with earthy tones enhanced by unexpected colour pops and sophisticated weaving techniques.
